Our Webinars Have Changed!

by | CFX, CFX Community, Editorial

Hello Worship Facility readers! I’m very proud to announce that we’ve made it even easier for you and your church teams to watch our webinars whenever you like.

For the past year, you’ve enjoyed our webinars, featuring experts such as Samantha Potter, Ben Stapley, Golden Preciado, Patrick Hart, Simon Osamoh, and Karl Winkler discussing topics from mixing audio to design-build, microphones, lighting, and security. Each time, people from all over the U.S. and even around the world have registered, then been sent an email at a later date when the webinar was released. Then we thought, “Why should people have to wait?”

So, starting this week with our new webinar, “Stage Safety 101“, featuring Bill Di Paolo, as soon as you fill out and submit our short registration form, you’ll get an email with link to the video inside. No more signing up and waiting days or longer for the official release. Just take a look at our schedule of upcoming webinars – you can find that on our main page under the “Resources” tab or just click here – and you’ll see what the upcoming topics are. When a webinar becomes available, register and watch it instantly. Or gather your team and then watch it. Do whatever you like, when you like, it will be in your email waiting for you to click on it.

Plus, you can still watch all of our previous webinars the same way. Any of them, all of them, as often as you choose. Just go to the webinar listing, pick a topic, register, and you’re good to go.

As always, if you like one of our articles, please feel free to like and share it on social media. Just go to the top or bottom of whatever you’ve clicked on and you can share it to your platform of choice. While you’re there, please take time to like and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin, where you can ask questions, see articles, and have updates on topics and events, every day.

I hope you continue our features, learning series, podcasts, and webinars, and I look forward to seeing you at conferences throughout the year, including CFX this Fall! As always feel free to reach out to me at glass@worshipfacility.com to share with me your ideas or stories!

Best regards,

Gene Lass

My Love-Hate Relationship with the De-esser

I don’t remember ever using a de-esser in the early days of my recording career. Sure, there were a few clever engineers who would side-chain a compressor to tame certain frequency ranges, but that was rare and not always used on vocals. If a vocal was harsh or overly...
