Martin Audio Celebrating 50th Anniversary This Year

by | Audio, News, Production

In 2021, Martin Audio — founded by Australian Dave Martin in London’s Covent Garden back in 1971 — is celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout the year.

Managing Director Dom Harter states, “While we are forever mindful that COVID restrictions are still firmly in place, this is a landmark that should be celebrated in style.” To commemorate the occasion, the company has produced a new coffee table book detailing its history and featuring eye-catching photography. It’s available now online and in print from February onward. A celebratory video is also available online.

The company notes that it expects 2021 to be a prolific year, with numerous product and software developments in the pipeline. Harter adds, “There have been so many manufacturing milestones at Martin Audio and we want to keep that momentum going. We fervently hope that it won’t be long before we are able to celebrate all of these, face to face with our many partners, customers and friends around the globe.”

Subject to restrictions, provisional plans will be to host a party in September to tie in with the company’s series of Open Days, to which all international partners will be invited. Go here for more specifics on Martin Audio’s 50th anniversary.
