Cypress Envirosystems Re-Designs Wireless Pneumatic Thermostat System to Save Energy in Churches and Schools

by | Facilities, News, Operations

SAN JOSE, Calif., August 16, 2021 – Cypress Envirosystems today announced that its award-winning Wireless Pneumatic Thermostat (WPT) System has been re-designed to enable adoption by churches and schools. Analog pneumatic thermostats can be retrofitted in ten minutes with the WPT to save energy, improve comfort and allow for remote cloud-based visibility and control.

Cypress Envirosystems has adopted the LoRa 900 MHz radio, which eliminates the need for wireless repeaters and dedicated electrical power. This allows the system to be installed by competent users without the need to hire outside HVAC technicians. The new design makes it easier for churches and schools with pneumatic thermostats to adopt the system.

The new cloud-based WPT system no longer requires a capital investment. Cypress Envirosystems is offering religious and school facilities a limited opportunity to acquire the system for a reduced price of $19.99 per month per thermostat for 24 months. After 24 months, cloud access and remote control abilities would be maintained for $3 per month per thermostat.
